Jessica Jeon, 16, Violin

Jessica Jeon is a gifted violinist who has garnered much acclaim even at the age of 16. Since she was six years old, Jessica has won accolades at the Crescendo International Music Competition, the International Virtuoso Competition, the New York Young Artist Competition, and numerous other competitions. In 2015, she was a recipient of the Presidential Volunteer Service Award for her weekly visits to multiple homeless shelters and nursing homes. She has performed at Carnegie Hall several times, both solo and with the New York Youth Orchestra.
In 2020-2023, Jessica was one of the youngest members in the Grammy-winning New York Youth Symphony. In the 2020-2021 program season, she was chosen to be a Vargas Scholar, earning her a full scholarship at Interlochen. In 2025, Jessica was appointed as the youth ambassador for the Korean American Civic Empowerment. She is currently a junior and the Oscar Tang Scholar at Philips Academy Andover, where she serves as the concertmaster of the Academy Symphony Orchestra. As a member of the Academy Symphony Orchestra and the Boston Youth Symphony Orchestra, she performed in London, Boston Mexico.
